With International Mud Day around the corner, we hosted a celebratory playgroup for our toddler friends.

Summer is here.
LDC's evening bath had been given and bedtime was around the corner but with the late setting of the summer sun (and finally a break in the rain) we headed outside to get sweaty, sandy and dirty all over again.

Rainwater that had collected in our pots and pans helped to make sandcakes and sandcookies

Finally winding down (and letting the sweat evaporate) by heading inside and practicing colors on our makeshift light table.
