Smart9-1-1

With summer in full swing, I shared the following link with some moms in Aiken.  It takes about 10 minutes but is well worth your time.  Actually, when I typed in our address it showed that emergency vehicles would have been sent the street over.   You can share information (with your local agency) on how many bedrooms you have, where your children sleep, any medical conditions, pets, etc.

Music and Art

It has been all about

music and

art.

Making "quiet drums" at our playgroup this week.
(Quiet Drums...Flip a paper plate over.  Add some color with crayons and glitter glue. Use milkshake straws as drum sticks.)

Andy's child for sure.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Clothes need to be washed, a grocery list needs to be made and the house is a wreck with camping gear spread all over the place.....so to prolong the household chores for a wee bit longer some pics from our trip are below.  More to come later in the week.

Dinner time in the campground.
Smoke from the campfires and the evening sun light.

Folks gathered around each night to listen to campers playing gospel bluegrass. (And yes, LDC was in a vest.  Believe it or not- it was chilly!)
