Happy 6th Birthday Andrew

Chaperone (no heat shock proteins involved)

I was given the amazing opportunity to be a chaperone/chaperon for our AP Biology teacher.
My charge was to be their naturalist while on land.

Not having to be accountable for:
money
lunches
the bus
my 12th graders that I left behind with a sub (rejoice)

Yes, please.
Ahhhh, the good life AND an experience on Edisto Island they will not forget.

Flash Mob Picnic

400 plus people mad dashing to the same place...
"Le Diner en Blanc, an elegant pop-up affair, began 27 years ago in France and then spread to other parts of the world."
"The site won’t be revealed until thirty minutes beforehand to participants, who will receive text messages.  All who attend should wear white clothing (“en Blanc” is French for “in White”) and bring their own picnic meals. Proceeds will benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County and the Community Medical Clinic of Aiken County."
The BEST part of the Sunday event was having my man there.
Exhausted from his 90+ hour weeks during spring growing season, he was able to join us.
Perfect.
Trooper.

Neighborhood Fishing Rodeo

"Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven’t
gotten anything except poison ivy and sunburn, you’re
still better off than the worm."
