no scarf or mittens (at least for now)

If you live in the Northeast do not read what follows
It was bitter cold this work week.
In the low teens each morning.
But...
No snow day.
No two-hour delay for the start of school.
Oh well.
The positive side...
this weekend we have been soaking up the sunshine without mittens and a scarf.

LDC is getting very (very) good at corn hole.  Thanks to Uncle Drew and Aunt Shelby for giving her such a unique corn hole set.

throws, gumbo and creativity

let the good times roll (in a Volkswagen Bus)

We changed it up this year for our annual Mardi Gras theme party.
Families were asked to pick a theme word that revolved around the Mardi Gras season and to bring a ride-on/float portraying their chosen theme word.
Gosh, c-r-e-a-t-i-v-i-t-y.
Fun.

We (Krewe of Colquitt) picked the theme Carefree
The choice for Krewe of Cook was Carnival (Pucker up!)
The Krewe of Swales selected Balls (over the top bubble wand included)
Hope everyone is enjoying the tail end of the carnival season.
We sure did.

Catherine

There were seven in the bed,
 And the little one said,
 "Roll over!  Roll over!".
A new exciting addition for Drew and Shelby

Increase in the Power Bill

I came downstairs to all the lights on.
What??
Found the culprit BUT couldn't get too mad seeing that LDC was so excited her height wasn't holding her back from being a "big girl".

Track 'em, Tigers, just like beagles
