I have been making my way through a cookbook. The author starts each recipe with a funny story or humorous memory....I guess to make you not think about the work ahead and the dirty dishes that follow.
Anyway.
The author's memory was about the skating rink and a song by Journey . I told LDC to play the particular song for us while we cooked.
Her response as the song played, "you actually liked this song?".
Y-e-s.
Good ole Footloose, the movie.
So that was the cookin'.
Now the rockin'
Our dry creek bed in the backyard needed some TLC. Andy tamed back the berries, we unearthed lots of rocks that had disappeared as the years have passed, and more stones were delivered.
Mission accomplished.
