What does "Say Cheese" mean to 5 children, 5 and under in age.....
Quick! Run away!
Sadly cry!
Take off to the neighbors yard!
Pick your nose!
Here it is. The Thanksgiving 2011 Picture. It may be off centered, more door than children and a pacifier in the mouth but that is just part of the fun.

The joy of dangerous objects
After I took this last picture, she figured it out that if you push on the top of the pen - there is ink.
A quick tug of war between mother and daughter pursued.

What does a monkey say?
We have been learning animal sounds in our household so we thought heading to the zoo for an afternoon would be a perfect place to practice what LDC knows so far.
We ventured into the bird exhibit to get up close and personal with some little feathery friends.
The woman in the brown jacket above was giving me some pointers on getting the Lorikeet to come down and feed.
The bird landed politely on my hand and started to drink the nectar in the cup. So far so good.
Whoosh - another little fella joined in---I am trying to play it off that I am a bit apprehensive of the bird so close to my head.
All seems quiet and calm and then the lorikeets start screaming at each other
At this point LDC is not a happy camper that the birds are making a ruckus in our ears. Things start going down hill and we decide to leave but not without Andy laughing hysterically at me when.....

A day on the dairy farm
We spent the day, in Georgia, on a dairy farm with friends.
LDC got to pet Mocha, the baby goat.
She practiced milking a cow and
harvesting some pumpkins.
The farm had the coolest playground equipment---trucks,
tractors,
swinging horses and
a huge slide. (I do have to say that the slide was a "we" deal.)
