"You say you like the wind
Blowin' through your hair

Come on, roll with me
'Til the sun goes down..."
- Texas sun

The Texas family reunion was filled with:

 LOTS of hugs,

a few lines,

abundant blue sky,
and

constant water bottle popsicle consumption.

(w-h-e-w...it was HOT...think 105+ daily)

After the family reunion we stopped by San Antonio.
Just as easy to jump over as go around.
Which of course included a cold treat.
Are you going to eat that or have you?

Summer Week Four

Week Four was spent in bed nursing the flu but by the 4th of July we were bouncing back.

Storm clouds hung through out the day thus it turned out to be a slow roll out of fireworks.  This ensured that the firework stand Andy purchased, could be enjoyed... so...popping and booms during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"Nope.  That is called humidity". - me

Routine stops along the trail for candy, water and literally drying off with a towel.

And then...we finally saw our destination down below.

Lake Keowee

"Mommy, hurry and take the picture so we can get down there and jump in the water."
